In April, 2006 Mr. Jackson was named Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers Palm Beach Chapter. Jackson was honored because of his significant professional achievements.
As Project Manager and Director of Highway and Heavy Construction Division Mr. Jackson is responsible for overseeing all coordination, design and permitting for roadways and other major civil works. His duties also include client contact, coordination with governmental agencies, and coordination with outside professionals, surveying and planning department coordination.

Mr. Jackson has extensive experience in the design and permitting of many different types of civil engineering projects for both private and governmental clients. As a consultant for the past 24 years, projects completed under his direction include the Exposition Hall Expansion for South Florida Fairgrounds, a major agricultural pumping station in the Everglades Agricultural Area, several highway projects throughout Palm Beach County and many land development projects, commercial centers and office buildings. He also serves as the municipal engineer for the Town Lake Clarke Shores and the Village of North Palm Beach.
The design aspects for these projects include stormwater management and drainage design, coordination of survey data, extensive grading, curvature super elevation, utility coordination, earthwork analysis, maintenance of traffic, cost estimates, specifications, permitting and contract and construction administration.
Mr. Jackson has also served an active role in the community by serving the Florida Engineering Society as its State Director (1998-2001), Palm Beach Chapter President (1987-1988), Engineer of the Year (1990-1991) and Young Engineer of the Year (1990-1991). He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Association of Eminent Domain Professionals, Chamber of Commerce, and serves on committees at the Village of Wellington and in St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Wellington.
