Facilities
Administration / Emergency Operations Facility, Palm Beach County, FL
A 13,000 square foot, two-story reinforced concrete building with associated parking for the Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District (NPBCID). It houses offices for their administrative staff, a large room is used for board meetings, and the building can be used for emergency operations. This building has a common entrance and shared parking with three other buildings that formally housed the NPBCID. The building is designed for a Category 5 hurricane. Project cost is $3.3 million. Designed, obtained permit approval, and observed construction of the concrete structure, drainage system, asphalt parking areas, sewer service, and water service.

Prepared construction drawings, obtained permit agency approvals for wastewater, water and reclaimed water facilities along a 4.5 mile four lane roadway. Administered construction for utilities, paving, and drainage.
Water Distribution and Supply
Control 2 Pump Station Study, West Palm Beach, FL
Studied relocation of an existing 450 cfs drainage pump station including research of the historical use of the existing station. Comparisons between proposed locations of qualities such as site and structure expandability was conducted. Developed detailed cost estimate and cost comparison matrix for four proposed locations. Cost estimate included canal dredging and widening.
Wastewater Collection and Transmission
Lift Station 1A Improvements, Riviera Beach, FL
Designed and prepared specifications for an upgrade to a 2 million gallon per day lift station. The improvements included an increase in pumping capacity and pumping system design for two 250 horsepower pumps. Wet well rehabilitation, site improvements and architectural rehabilitation were also included. Research and design into hydrogen sulfide odor control was also conducted.
Water Management
Control Structure F-1 Replacement, Riviera Beach, FL
Replacement of an existing metal riser pipe type drainage control structure with a concrete structure that includes operable gates and telemetry. The new structure was designed on the downstream side of existing culvert pipes to prevent debris collection. Construction cost of $200,000.
